The 7th grade girls basketball team earned a victory over Grand Haven Lakeshore Blue 45-25. Scoring for the Dux were Rylee Smith, Kendyl Chupailo, Desi Kuyers, Ana Flores, Isabel Assink, Kayla Wyrick, Emily Overway, Alyssa Haveman, Anna Loeprich, and Alexa Brott. The Dux will be away at Reeths Puffer on Monday.
The 8th grade team played a great game and came out with a victory against the girls from Grand Haven. The Dux used a total team effort to seal the victory. Leading scorers for the Dux were Lindy Gulker, Kara Bartels, Kenzie Spitters, Karli VandenBerg, Danielle Swett, Marissa Ybarra, and Izzy Fuentes. At the defensive end Claire Story, Reese Geurink, and Abby RIdlington played with tremendous energy. The Dux are in action next Monday as they travel to Reeths Puffer.
