The 7th grade bball team fell to rival Hamilton on Wednesday night 22-50. The Dux leading scorers were Kendyl Chupailo, Desi Kuyers, Anna Loeprich, and Rylee Smith. Kayla Wyrick, Ana Flores, Isabel Assink, Greta Hondorp and Tessa Rindfliesch played tough defense, while Cora Mielke, Alyssa Haveman, and Emily Overway were strong on the boards. The Dux play again Thursday vs Grand Haven Lakeshore.
The Dux played well last night but lost to a skilled Hamilton squad. Leading scorers for the Dux were Kara Bartels, Marissa Ybarra, Reese Geurink, Karli VandenBerg, Ally Yonker, Dannielle Swett, and Lindy Gulker. The Dux are in action again at home against Grand Haven tonight.
