The 7th grade basketball team lost to Hudsonville Riley by a score of 28-35. Leading scorers for the Dux were Rylee Smith, Isabel Assink, Kayla Wyrick, Kendyl Chupailo, and Alexa Brott. The Dux played with great effort on defense and rebounded the ball well. The team will be back in action on Wednesday vs Hamilton.
The 8th grade team played a great game against a scrappy Hudsonville team. Leading scorers for the Dux were Lindy Gulker, Ally Yonker, Kenzie Spitters, Karli VandenBerg, Marissa Ybarra, and Kara Bartels. At the defensive end, Izzy Cifuentes and Danielle Swett played with tremendous energy while Lindy Gulker and Kara Bartels led the Dux in rebounding. The Dux are in action again at home on Wednesday, Feb 20 against Hamilton.
