Girls Varsity Water Polo Co-op vs. Grand Haven HS School

The Varsity Women's Water Polo team traveled to Grand Haven this weekend and went 2-2 to raise their record to 6-3 overall. They started the weekend with a 10-2 victory over the host Buccaneers before falling Saturday morning to Grandville 4-3. The team rebounded with a 7-0 victory over Jenison which was also goalie Morgan Beers first Varsity shutout! In the final game of the day, the women fell to #1 ranked Rockford when the tired legs caught up to them.
Jenna Schrotenboer and Rylie Toth each scored seven to lead the team. Jenna and Madi DuQuette led the team with 4 assists and Rylie Toth led with 16 steals and 9 Field Blocks. Morgan Beers made 37 saves on the weekend.
