The 8th grade boys rallied in a come from behind effort against Hudsonville to earn a 2-2 draw last night. Hudsonville jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first half, but it was the Dux who maintained more possession and generated solid chances throughout the match. 

Trailing 2-0 at the half, Sam DiLaura scored off of a free kick from the top right corner of the box, bringing the Dux to 2-1. The Dux equalized on a great combination play between Trigve Elkins, DiLaura and Carson Hauch. Elkins lad a ball across the top of the box to DiLaura, who served a great left footed ball towards goal. Hauch snuck around his defender before directing the ball into the back of the net. 

The Dux defensive unit of Andrew McCullough, Jackson Briones, Vance Murray, Brandon Taylor, Landon Mosbauer and Jacob Schultz kept the Eagles grounded a majority of the game. The Dux are 1-0-1 on the season.
