Boys 7/8 Creekside Basketball vs. Fruitport Middle School

The 7th grade team faced off with a scrappy Fruitport team yesterday and won by a score of 59-31. Luke Bakker, Myles Steffan, and Trenten Bolhouse were the leading scorers for the Dux. Rebounding leaders were Myles Steffan, Evan Follman, and Charlie Lacny. The boys will play again on Wednesday vs. Pinewood Middle School.
The 8th grade team took on a sharpshooting Fruitport squad but came home with a victory. Leading scorers for the Dux were Trevor Wallar, Josh Wieringa, Parker Lovell, David Rockel, and Deklen Klamt. On the defensive end, Josh Overzet provided constant pressure while Skyler Geurink cleaned up the boards. Andrew Edwards had a strong offensive game. The Dux are in action again on Wednesday at home as they take on Pinewood (East Kentwood). Come out and support the Dux!
