The Jenison Zeeland hockey team did not end the calendar year as they would have hoped as they lost to Byron Center at home last Friday night. The Wildcats could not put together any offense and lost 0-2. The highlight of the game for the Wildcats was the strong performance in net by Cade Elliott.
The Wildcats are looking forward to their first game in the new year on Friday, January 4 at home versus Petoskey at 6 pm. It is a Kids Night at the George - elementary students are free with adult admission.
Then on Saturday, January 5 they will look to avenge their Friday loss by traveling to Southside arena to play Byron Center once again. Game time is at 7 pm.
