Congratulations to the Jenison Zeeland Hockey team for their conference win over Kenowa Hills Wednesday night.  The game ended a few minutes early as Jenison reached the 8 goal differential in the 3rd period which is considered a mercy.  Drew Bobeldyk was in net for the shut out - he faced 20 shots from Kenowa.  Jenison had 40 shots with eight of them going in.  Goal and assist data is below.  

This win brought the Wildcats to a 9 - 2 record with a 3 - 0 record in the conference.  Jenison is second is goals scored in the OK Conference and is on an 8 game winning streak.  Their biggest challenge yet is this Friday at 5 PM versus state ranked Byron Center at Griff's Georgetown.  The Jenison Cat Pack has declared a blackout so wear your black and come cheer on the team.  Friday is also the Kids Night at the George.  Any elementary student can get in free with a paying adult.
