Zeeland West Dux were runner-up at the Soderman Relays behind Rockford. The Lady Dux finished 3rd behind Rockford and Zeeland East.

Some of the notable performances from the girls team:

• The 4x400 team of Avari Peddi, Bella Hoffer, Greta Hondrop, and Jordyn Klaasen finished 2nd with a time of 4:19.55

• The 4x800 team of Emy Smith, Madison Ensing, Evie Kleinheksel, and Steph Dodd finished 3rd with a time of 10:47

• The Dux won the 4x1600 race, setting a new school record with a time of 23:01. Bella Hoffer, Jordyn Klaasen, Heidi Spahr, and Steph Dodd are your new record holders.

• Some of the same runners also broke a school record in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 13:19. Bella Hoffer ran the 1600m, Jordyn Klaasen the 1200m, Heidi Spahr the 800, and Greta Hondorp the 400m.

• In the field events, Isabel Assink threw the 3rd farthest shot with a distance of 34-0.

• Lee Ramirez finished 2nd in the Disc with a throw of 113-5.

• Anna Loeprich had a big PR and finished 10th overall with a throw of 85-6.

• Hana Hescott finished 5th in High Jump with a jump of 4’10”

• In pole vault, Lindsey Peterson finished 3rd, Steph Dodd 5th, and Alex Payne 8th.

• In long jump, Avari Peddie finished 3rd with a jump of 15’9”, and Jordin Robelin was 7th.

Some of the notable performances from the boys team:

• The Dux 4x100 team of Matthew Winter, Rolando Robelin, Parker Holman, Skyler Geurink  finished 2nd with a time of 43.71.

• The 4x200 team of Rolando Robelin, Skyler Geurink, Colton Ruster, and Parker Holman finished 3rd with a time of 1:30.93

• The 4x400 team of Trevor Waller, Colton Ruster, Chase Holwerda, and Skyler Geurink finished 2nd with a time of 3:33.3

• The 4x800 team of Andrew Kraft, Caleb Smith, Nathan Golding, and Chase Holwerda were outright winners with a time of 8:24.89.

• Setting a meet and school record were Caleb Smith, Chase Holwerda, Nathan Golding, and Jack DeKruyter in the 4x1600 with a time of 18:24.47.

• In the Distance Medley Relay, Keagan Smith, Jack DeKruyter, Carson Hauch, and Robert Dodd finished 3rd with a time of 11:21.23.

• In the 4x110 shuttle hurdles Trevor Waller, Brody Mass, Rolando Robelin, and Keaton Hendricks finished 3rd with a time of 1:02.87

• In the field events Luke Bosma finished 5th with a throw of 43-0

• In Disc, Luke Bosma finished 3rd with a throw of 128-05, Carson Arnould 4th with a throw of 128-02, and Evan Walters 10th with a throw of 124-04.

• Andrew Kraft was runner-up in High jump with a PR jump of 6’0.” Brady finished 4th with a jump of 5’10” and Clayton tied for 7th with a jump of 5’5”

• In pole vault, Colton finished runner-up with a vault of 11’6”. Nathan Golding was th, and Eduardo Hurtado was 9th. 

• Park Holman was runner up in Long Jump with a jump of 20’6”

The Dux compete in a conference matchup on Tuesday against Grand Rapids Union and Reeths-Puffer, and participate in the Cougar Invite on Saturday..
