Zeeland West Boys Run Strong at the West Ottawa Invitational

Saturday the Zeeland West boys cross country team showed that they are one of the top teams in the Region with a 2nd place finish in both the varsity and JV races at the West Ottawa Invitational. The team had 21 course PRs on the day along with 8 season best times. The varsity team finished in 2nd place (86 pts) behind a strong Grand Haven team (53 pts) in the field of 20 teams. Chase Holwerda, Caleb Smith, Nate Golding, Robert Dodd, Keagan Smith and Carson Hauch earned medalist honors as they finished in the top 30. The JV team added to the team accomplishments by also placing 2nd (39 pts) behind Holland Christian (32 pts) out of a field of 12 teams. Earning medals for the JV were Reid Cousins, Jonathan Greenho, Andrew Dalman, Liam Hallack, Ethan Dalman, Brady Verbeek, Dom Cranmer, and Howie Herrygers.
