Boys cross country sweeps both Byron Center and Zeeland East to complete a perfect 6-0 record in the OK Green. Junior, Corban Hauch was the overall champion, but more impressively was fact that 8 Dux crossed the finish line before Byron Center's first finisher, and 6 runners in front of Zeeland East's first finisher. 

The girls lost to Bulldogs, but beat the Chix to finish the Jamboree schedule tied for 3rd with a 3-3 record. Despite great efforts from Senior Avery Schenk, Sophomore Samantha Wells, and Senior Tally Martinez, Byron Center placed 3 racers in front of the first Dux finisher (Schenk) making it impossible to beat. They also completed conference with a perfect 6-0 record. Against Zeeland East, the Dux placed 5 Dux in front of East's 2nd place finisher to win 20-38. 

The Dux boys should remain the favorite in next weeks Conference Championship race against all OK Green schools. They will need to hold off a now healthy and hungry Holland Christian team that has its only loss to the Dux with a 5-1 record.

The Dux girls still have an outside shot at winning the conference meet as a team, and many individuals are battling for top 12 to earn All-Conference Honors in what should be one of the most competitive Championship races in recent history. 

Support both teams next Wednesday at the OK Green Conference Championship meet being held at Helder Park.
