Great team effort by the Dux to earn the runner-up trophy in the Division 1 & 2 race at Spartan Invite. Ethan Senti, overall Champion with time of 15:52. Senti still managed to separate from the field of 314 other runners after the 1 mile mark to finish nearly 30 seconds ahead of the second place finisher from Kalamazoo Loy Norrix. Also having great performances were teammates, Mateo Arredondo (5th, 17:05), and Corbin Hauch (12th, 17:17) who also earned individual medals!

Despite missing several varsity runners, the Lady Dux managed to finish 14 out a field of 37 teams. High temps and extreme humidly made for a grueling race, in which pr's were few and far between. However, the first 4 Dux finishers all had season or lifetime personal records (PR's).This included Freshman Steph Dodd who had over a minute PR, finishing with a time of 23:15. Tally Martniz led the Dux today finishing with 51st overall with a time of 21:29. Bella Hoffer (55, 21:33) and Sammie Wells (79, 21:58)  Season Records helped them finish ahead of the 330 other racers. 

Dux with face a deep and competitive Byron Center and Unity Christian on Wednesday in the 2nd OK Green Jamboree of the season. Byron Center will host.
