The Freshman Dux traveled to Grand Haven to participate in the Lakeshore Classic. The Dux started out the day 0-3 in pool play. Their pool was stacked with 3 of the top teams in the tournament including the eventual champion. They had losses to Hudsonville, Forest Hills Northern, and West Catholic. The Dux battled back in the afternoon and went 3-0 in bracket play to claim the silver bracket championship. Wins came against Grand Rapids Christian (25-18, 25-20), Reeths-Puffer (25-20, 25-22), and Catholic Central in the silver finals (25-14, 25-11). The Dux record is now 16-4 on the season and 6-0 in conference play. Next up is a road match vs Reeths-Puffer on Tuesday. Stats for the 6 games are below:
