HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 66
The Freshman Girls Basketball team lost to Holland Christian 66-21 on Thursday night.
The first quarter was an exciting one. The Lady Dux shot the ball well; Emily Brands hit multiple jumpers and Rhianna Bruursema had some nice moves in the post, but the team struggled defensively and trailed 13-19 at the end of the first. Turnovers and defensive miscues plagued the Dux the rest of the game and they couldn't keep up with Holland Christian offensively.
Rhianna Bruursema led the team with 8 points and Emily Brands chipped in 7.
