CEDAR SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 18
The Freshman Girls beat Cedar Springs 19-18 at the buzzer! Down 3 with under a minute to play, Emily Brands hit a short jumper to pull the Dux within 1. The Dux were able to force a couple of turnovers but were unable to produce anything offensively with their chances. With only 5.3 seconds remaining and Cedar Springs taking the ball out at half court, Cassidy Wiersma stole the ball and laid it in just before the clock expired!
The Freshman Girls are back in action at 4 PM on Tuesday at Mona Shores.
