BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL: 53
The Dux fell to a talented and athletic Byron Center team by a score of 32-53.
West came out swinging, trailing just 12-14 after the first quarter. The back and forth battle would continue through much of the 3rd until Byron Center used a 9-0 run to close out the half and lead 28-16. Byron would extend their run into the first few minutes of the 3rd. West would continue to fight but ultimately dug too big of a hole.
Rylee Fowler led the team with 9 points ( three 3 pointers), followed by Ellie Zinger with 6 (two three pointers) and Abby Winn with 5 points.
