KELLOGGSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The JV girls basketball team defeated Kelloggsville on Tuesday night by a score of 53-12. Facing a zone defense for the first time all year, the Dux would start off slow as they struggled to make open shots. Using strong defense and a good transition game, the girls were able to get some easy buckets and led at halftime, 25-9. West would come out strong in the second half, giving up 3 points in the 3rd and pitching a shutout in the 4th. Maddie Settlemyer led the team with 25 points, while Abigail Eckert added 7.
