On Tuesday the Zeeland West Girls Tennis traveled to Byron Center to take on the bulldogs. In their first match of the season, the Dux struggled to find their way as the matches began, but competed as they settled into the match. Despite playing better in the 2nd sets of matches, the Bulldogs defeated the Dux 7-1. West was lead to a win by Callie DeMann at 4 singles. The 4th doubles team of Maddie TenBroeke and Aliya Kosten also lost a close match 4-6 3-6. The Dux will next travel to Reeths Puffer for a weekend tournament.
