The ZW volleyball team played in the Allendale invite on Saturday, Aug 21. In round robin play the Dux defeated GR Union (25-11, 25-5), and Orchard View (25-7, 25-19). The Dux split with Allendale (15-25, 27-26), and lost to Holland Christian (23-25, 20-25).
In Bracket play ZW defeated Allendale (25-10, 25-21) to advance to the championship match. In the end ZW fell to HC (8-25, 18-25).
