The ZW varsity volleyball team fell to the Rockets of Reeths Puffer in their season opener on Thursday night (23-25, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25). Kill leaders for the Dux were Abby Winn with 14, Alayna Ruch with 10, Lexi Rindfliesch with 5, Maddie Settlemyre with 4, and Taylor Zwagerman with 4. Marcy Creevy led the way defensively with 17 digs, while Abby Winn added 14 digs of her own. Lindsey Houle dished out 35 assists for the Dux. ZW will face off against Wyoming HS next week Tuesday.
