Zeeland West lost a tough 4-set match to Holland Christian Thursday night. The Dux won a tight first game 29-27, but could not hold momentum dropping the next three 22-25, 18-25, and 22-25. The loss drops the Dux to 5-3 in OK Green Conference play.
The Dux were led by Kara Hecht with 13 kills and Janelle Perez with 11. Makinna Ramont had 7 kills and 3 aces and Megan Bader led the team with 33 assists.
Next up for Zeeland West is a home match with the first place Hamilton Hawkeyes on Tuesday night.
