UNITY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Zeeland West defeated Unity Christian Thursday night 3-0 at Unity Christian High School. The Dux struggled through a sloppy game 1 winning 25-22 before warming up in the second and third games dispatching the Crusaders 25-11 & 25-16.
The Dux were led on the night by Kaylee Bakker with 10 kills, while Kara Hecht had 7 kills. Allie Williams came off the bench and ripped 6 aces and had 2 kills. Megan Bader added 24 assists and Kylie Winn anchored the defense with 17 digs.
The Dux now are 5-2 in OK Green play, and now have a week to prepare for conference leaders Hamilton at home next Thursday in a showdown for 1st place.
