BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL: 2
Zeeland West played a great match Thursday night defeating a strong Byron Center squad 3-2. (25-17, 18-25, 25-16, 19-25, 15-6) The win moved the Dux to 3-2 in OK Green Conference play and sets up a big match with Zeeland East next Tuesday.
The Dux were led by Kaylee Bakker who finished the night with 11 kills and 8 blocks, including 4 huge blocks in Game 5. Janelle Perez also had 11 kills and Kara Hecht finished with 10 kills. Megan Bader set the ball all night finishing with a career high 41 assists.
Kylee Winn was great defensively with 28 digs.
