Zeeland West got off to a great start to their conference schedule defeating Unity Christian 3-1 Tuesday night. Game scores were 25-19, 22-25, 25-12, 25-22.
For the Dux, Kaylee Bakker was a force in the middle with 12 kills & 7 blocks. Makinna Ramont added 6 kills and Kara Hecht and Janelle Perez each had 5 kills. Megan Bader set the table all night and finished with 29 assists.
The Dux next action is at Calvin Christian for an Invite on Saturday.
Conference play resumes next Tuesday at Holland Christian.
