The Dux varsity soccer team lost to Unity Christian, 0-4. After trailing 0-3 at the half, the Dux defended much better in the second half and were able to generate more momentum through the midfield. Despite the loss, the Dux defense managed the speed, skill and physicality of the Crusaders for much of the match.
"Unity has a solid team. We defended well for most of the night, but were unable to generate many scoring opportunities. They do a great job of wearing teams out by applying relentless pressure and energy in pursuit of the ball. I am proud of our effort tonight."
