The Dux varsity soccer team made the most of their long bus ride up to Muskegon, defeating the Big Reds 8-0. Caiti Grant led the attack with 2 goals and an assist. Kayla Bosch led the team with 2 assists. Marissa Ybarra, Rylee Terpstra, Brooklyn Geerlings, Jordyn Klaasen, Gloria Maria Cordeiro De Souza, and Georgia Kuyers also netted goals in the win. While Rylee Smith, Bree Stine, Klaasen, Samantha Van Dort and Rachel McFall dished out assists. Samarah Arendsen and Mallory Allen combined for the shutout in goal.

"Great team win tonight with everyone contributing. Our backs stayed focused and engaged, distributing the ball out of the back. Our midfield did a great job of playing simple 1-2 touch through the middle in changing the point of attack. Our outsides were very unselfish on the wings, as evidenced by the number of assists on the night. Very pleased with the manner in which we approached our match tonight."

The Dux improve to 4-0-1 on the season, and 2-0-1 in the OK Green. They return to action on Thursday when they host Mona Shores.
