The Dux varsity soccer team lost to Zeeland East in the second round of the OK Green Conference Tournament, 1-3. The Dux found themselves down 0-2, before Abby Winn slipped a ball behind the Chix defense to Marissa Ybarra, who found the back of the net to bring the Dux within striking distance. However, despite many good lucks and opportunities, they were unable to score.

"Great environment and atmosphere tonight. Zeeland East deserves a lot of credit for how well they executed their game plan. The difference in the game came down to finishing and making the right decisions in key moments. Unfortunately for us, we couldn't find the back of the net and had difficulty capitalizing on the chances we generated in front of goal tonight. Thanks to our community for showing up in great numbers, we are truly blessed to have their love and support."

The Dux will host Reeths-Puffer on Monday in the final conference tournament game to determine 3rd or 4th place.
