WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL: 29
The Dux won 61-29 behind a great defensive effort tonight. The game was tied 13-13 after the 1st quarter and used a great defensive effort to hold the Wolves to only 3 points while pouring in 19 point offensively thanks to Marissa Ybarras 2 triples and 11 points in the quarter. Lindy Gulker also had a great quarter with 4 points and a couple of nice assists. The Dux went into halftime up 32-16. West continued to execute well on offense behind Kara Bartels' 10 points and Ally Yonkers' 6 points in the 3rd quarter. The Dux were up 52-24 heading into the final quarter and were able to close out the road win.
Kara Bartels had a game high 20 points and Marissa Ybarra had 15 points with the help of 3 triples on the night. Lindy Gulker had 8 points. Tia Martinez had 7 and Ally Yonker chipped in 6.
