The Dux squeaked out a win on the road against Union 57-53. The Dux were able to get going in the post during the 1st Quarter with Kara Bartels scoring 6 and Lindy Gulker contributing 4. West took a 12-7 lead into the 2nd. The Dux kept it going offensively behind Marissa Ybarra's 2 triples in the 2nd Quarter, but the Dux allowed the Red Hawks to keep pace heading into halftime 30-25. In the 3rd, West was able to get some big stops on defense and got their transition game going to extend their lead to 16 behind big quarters from Bartels and Tia Martinez. Abby Winn and Ybarra also each made a three pointer and the Dux led 50-34 headed into the final quarter. The Dux seemed poised to close the game out but the Red Hawks went on a 19-5 run in the final 4 minutes to cut the lead to only 2 with under a minute to go. The Union comeback was cut short by a big bucket from Tia Martinez with 17 seconds left in the game. 

Kara Bartels led the team with 18 points. Marissa Ybarra had 3 triples for 9 points. Tia Martinez and Lindy Gulker had 8. Abby Winn chipped in 7.
