HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL: 31
Lady Dux were able to hold of the Flying Dutch 42-31 for their first conference win of the season Saturday. The Dux came out very determined to have a solid defensive front and they did just that allowing the Dutch a total of 11 points in the 2nd half.
A great team effort and good ball movement helped the Dux hold the lead throughout the entire game.
West was led offensively by Kara Bartels with 11, Maddie Settlemeyre with 9 and Aaliyah Ybarra with 8. The Dux also had solid games by Tia Martinez with 11 Rebs and Anna Girman with 5 stls.
