Lady Dux lost a tough one Tuesday evening against a very skilled Byron Center team.  The girls came out with tremendous energy on defense in the first half and did NOT allow BC to get into any kind of rhythm.  The Dux were led defensively by Aaliyah Ybarra with 4 steals and had great efforts from Marcy Creevy and Tally Martinez.  

Going into halftime the Dux trailed by only 4 points 19-23.  Unfortunately, some costly turnovers allowed BC too many easy baskets in the 3rd and the Dux trailed 20points going into the 4th quarter.  The team was never able to recover and lost 36-61.  The Dux were led offensively by Kaylee Bakker with 17 while Ybarra added 8.  

The Dux are in action again on Friday night with a non-conference game @ Allendale High School.
