The Dux held on to win against a sharp shooting Coopersville team Tuesday night 43-39. 
 

After a week off the Dux came out a little flat and Coopersville hit first first three 3's in the 1st quarter.  Kaylee Bakker played tough inside scoring her first 6 to help the Dux cut the lead to 1 after the 1st quarter .  
 

Tally Martinez helped the Dux soar to a 29-17 lead in 2nd quarter scoring 6 points.  The Dux went into halftime with a lot of momentum.  
 

Unfortunately they were out scored in both of the next quarters as Coopersville made a late run.  The Dux found a way to take care of the basketball forcing Coop to foul.  Marcy Creevy was clutch from the from the free throw line hitting both.  
 

The Dux were led by Kaylee Bakker with 14 and Tally Martinez with 9.
