Lady Dux won their home opener Friday night against Kellogsville 65-38.  

The Dux were able to to get out to an early lead with help of some inside scoring from Kaylee Bakker early who ended with a game high 21 points.  The girls did a great job moving the ball and got some great looks against Kellogsville zone.  

After having a comfortable lead coming out of half time the Dux kept at it and raising their intensity in the 4th quarter, especially Freshman Kara Bartels who finished the game with 17 points.  Marcy Creevy had a great defensive game and led the Dux in steals.   Tally Martinez did a good job penetrating and attacking in transition and was able to knock down her free throws finishing with 14points. 

It was a great win as they look to build off that with their next Home game Tuesday against West Ottawa.
