The Lady Dux beat Unity Christian Tuesday evening 42-35.  The Dux came out with great energy from everyone on the team and were very solid defensively collecting 16 steals as a team.  Leading the front lines was Aaliyah Ybarra and Tally Martinez combining for over half of the teams steals.  Andrea Valdes came out with great intensity on defensive adding 4 steals.  This great defense allowed the girls great looks in transition.  
The Dux went into the 4th quarter down by 1 point, but Kaylee Bakker stepped up and scrapped for some great offensive put backs to spur the Dux forward.   Ybarra also add 2 buckets in the 4th igniting the momentum in the Dux favor.   Tally Martinez and Lucy Bouvier had clutch free throws at the end of the game to close it out.

Dux were led by Ybarra with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.  Kaylee Bakker added 11points , 6 rebounds while Martinez had 7points and 4 steals.  The Dux had be BEST ball movement they have had all year which allowed such balanced scoring.  Go Dux!!

Lady Dux will be back in action against Byron Center this Friday at Home for Senior Night.  Come out and Support the seniors :  Andrea Valdes, Lucy Bouvier, Audrey Eckert, Raegina Pung and Kayla Roberts.
