The Dux won a hard caught battle against the Zeeland East Chix.  The Dux were spurred early from some offense from a Lucy Bouvier , Kaylee Bakker and Tally Martinez, Each Scoring in the 1st quarter putting the Dux up 12-5.

The Defensive battle between the two teams was evident without either side backing down.  The score was 16-13 at half.  

Chix came out strong in the second half dominating the 3rd quarter out scoring the Dux 14-6.  Luckily the Dux came alive in the 4th quarter and would regain the lead for the rest of the game.  Marcy Creevy hit some big shots in the 4th to help the Dux get rolling.  Bakker and  Bouiver combined to go 7-12 from the line and hit some clutch free throws in tough moments to secure the win!    

Tally Martinez played a phenomenal game defensively and held the Chix top player to only 9 points.  Bakker led scoring with 15 and was a solid defender under the basket totaling 6 blocks.  Bouvier added 8, Creevy 7 and Martinez with 4.

Dux now are 1-0 in conference play and 2-4 overall.  Great win for the Lady Dux!
