Dux locked down a tough win on the road against the Wayland Wildcats. The Dux did a great job moving the ball on offense to find some great looks early on in the game finding Lucy Bouvier for 2 good jumpers. Unfortunately the wildcats hit some tough outside shots to keep them in the game and the game was tied at the end of the first quarter.

The momentum shift could be felt when the Dux came out strong in the second half knocking down some shots early to take back the lead. Jolee Houle was getting some great looks from three and was able to knock down 2 of them in the 3rd quarter to keep the Dux ahead moving into the fourth quarter. Ryleigh Farrell and Kaylee Bakker did a nice job of battling inside against a lengthy Wayland team.

Alyssa Smith, Houle & Bakker all hit some key free throws in the fourth quarter to help close out the win. The Dux set the tone in the 2nd half and were able to take over the game, led in scoring by Houle with 21 points , Farrel with 15 and Bakker adding 11.

The Dux look to continue to use this momentum moving into their Home game Friday evening against Zeeland East. Great team effort from the Lady Dux tonight.
