WEST OTTAWA HIGH SCHOOL: 48
Zeeland West fell to West Ottawa in their home opener Tuesday night. The Dux struggled in the second half adjusting to the WO athletic defense and had too many turnovers down the stretch. The game was within 5 points almost the entire game. West Ottawa went on a run early in the forth quarter and the Dux were unable to answer.
The Dux were led by Kaylee Bakker with 10 points while Jolee Houle and Alyssa Smith both added 8 points a piece.
The Dux are back in action on Friday evening at home against Reeths Puffer.
