The Dux won a close, hard-fought game against Zeeland East by a score of 38-36. The Dux started the game slowly but eventually played with much more rhythm and energy that helped create a come-from-behind victory. Leading the Dux on offense were Jake Lencioni (15 points), Trey Sloothaak (12 points), and Keaton Hendricks (7 points). The Dux displayed selfless basketball throughout most of the game and hit some clutch shots near the end of the fourth quarter. On defense, Will Skaggs and Jakob McLaren both played with lots of energy and rebounded well. The team will continue conference play next Friday (2/4) against Muskegon.
