The freshman Dux did a tremendous job at bouncing back and defeated Gull Lake by 10 points. The Dux were able to keep their composure during many different defensive looks and brought an energy that excelled them to victory. Will Skaggs led the Dux offensively with 4 3-pointers and a total of 16 points. Trey Sloothaak (11 points) and Jake Lencioni (6 points) both showed bright spots offensively. Quintin Van Lente and Jeremiah Meengs both were an important part of the defensive success. Overall, it was a great team effort by all 15 players. The Dux will be taking a break for now, but look forward to their next game 1/4 at Jenison.
