Zeeland West Freshman Dux got things started in the first inning when Brett VanderKooi's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Zeeland West Freshman Dux.

Zeeland West Freshman Dux pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third Blake Matthews singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and an error scored two runs for Zeeland West Freshman Dux.

Koen Rutkauskas earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Zeeland West Freshman Dux. The fireballer allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out nine.
