Jacob Lencioni was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Wednesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Zeeland West Freshman Dux past Coopersville Broncos Freshman 11-1 on Wednesday.  Lencioni drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, and a double in the fourth.

Coopersville Broncos Freshman got things started in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Coopersville Broncos Freshman.

Zeeland West Freshman Dux pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning.  In the second Alex Rotman singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Carson Nash singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Lencioni singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, and Koen Rutkauskas singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Lencioni was the winning pitcher for Zeeland West Freshman Dux. The pitcher went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out three.

Alex Umlor took the loss for Coopersville Broncos Freshman. Umlor surrendered eight runs on nine hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Zeeland West Freshman Dux racked up 13 hits.  Lencioni, Rutkauskas, Nash, Luke Wierenga, Rotman, and Blake Matthews each racked up multiple hits for Zeeland West Freshman Dux.  Lencioni went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Zeeland West Freshman Dux in hits.
