Lucas Smith didn't allow a single run against Hamilton 2022 Hamilton Freshman  Freshman, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Zeeland West Freshman Dux to a 7-0 victory on Monday

Zeeland West Freshman Dux secured the victory thanks to four runs in the third inning.  Smith and Logan Wyckoff each had RBIs in the frame.

Zeeland West Freshman Dux fired up the offense in the first inning.  Brett VanderKooi threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Zeeland West Freshman Dux.

Zeeland West Freshman Dux notched four runs in the third inning.  The offensive onslaught by Zeeland West Freshman Dux was led by Smith and Wyckoff, who each had RBIs in the inning.

One bright spot for Hamilton 2022 Hamilton Freshman  Freshman was a single by Logan O’Connor in the first inning.

VanderKooi took the loss for Hamilton 2022 Hamilton Freshman  Freshman. VanderKooi lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out six.

Koen Rutkauskas led Zeeland West Freshman Dux with two hits in four at bats.  Zeeland West Freshman Dux was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
