Zeeland West Freshman Dux lost the lead late in a 7-4 defeat to Allendale Falcons Freshmen 2022 on Tuesday. Allendale Falcons Freshmen 2022 was down 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Michael Hurlbutt homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
Jacksen Fitton got the win for Allendale Falcons Freshmen 2022. The fireballer surrendered three runs on four hits over four innings, striking out five. Deagan DeVries and Hurlbutt entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Carson Nash took the loss for Zeeland West Freshman Dux. Nash allowed six hits and six runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
Luke Wierenga led Zeeland West Freshman Dux with two hits in three at bats. Jacob Lencioni led Zeeland West Freshman Dux with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.
