ZEELAND EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 6
Ethan Bosch picked up a game 1 win for the Dux against Zeeland East in a 21-5 victory. The Dux bats really got going. Jake Kender, Brett Yonker, Carter De Jonge, and Jackson Larkin all had multiple hit games and each scored 3 times. Cam Schuessler, Cory Holtrust, Adam Leeuw, and Bosch also got on the hit train and crossed the plate twice. Logan Visser called a great game behind the dish, hit safely and scored as well, while Owen Quillan held the Chix at bay defensively. The Dux dropped game 2, 12-4. Picking up hits for West were Kender, Schuessler, Holtrust, DeJonge, and John Hodgson.
