UNION HIGH SCHOOL: 48
The boys JV Dux went on the road Friday night against the Union Redhawks. The first half was a back and forth game between the teams which had multiple lead changes. The Dux trailed by one at the half 30-31. The second half was a different story, and the guys really clamped down on the defensive end giving up 9 points in the 3rd and 8 points in the forth while putting in 18 and 22 of their own each quarter and finished the game with 70 points while giving up 48. The boys had a very balanced attack and moved the ball very well which made the offense attack run smoothly. The boys were lead by Micah Henry with 16, Orion Yant with 14, Jacob Eckert with 13, and Brady Westfield with 12. Trey Sloothak added 7, Rolando Robelin had 5, Andrew Kraft had 2, and Ian Kleinheksel had 1. The Dux will continue play Monday night agianst the Chix at Zeeland East.
