The JV Dux lost 41-56 to Reeths-Puffer on the road on Thursday, dropping their record to 10-3 (8-3).

"We had a few things going aganst us tonight. First, we had a hard time scoring. Shots that we normally hit weren't falling. That's something you can't always control," Coach Ray said. "However, there were some things that we could control, like our defensive intensity to start off the game, and we didn't have it in that regard. Anytime you get down 22-4, it is hard to come back, no matter how talented your team is."

Myles Steffen (2024) scored 26 points in the defeat. Owen Telgenhof (2023) came off the bench to provide some great defensive energy, as well as three points.

"When Owen was in the game, we knew what we were getting from him," Coach Ray said. "He has done the little things for us in practice all year and we are thrilled he is starting to earn the chance to do those things for us in games."

The Dux will take on Holland on Saturday in a program tripleheader, with games at 10am/11:30am/1pm.
