The JV Dux were defeated by the Wyoming Wolves on Tuesday night, losing 56-74. Their record falls to 10-2 (8-2) on the season.

"We tried to beat Wyoming at their own game tonight, and we got smoked," Coach Ray said. "I have to do a better job of preparing this team to play Zeeland West basketball. I didn't do my job leading up to this game. You play the way you practice, and I need to demand more out of our guys in practice so they are prepared for games."

Andrew Edwards (2023), Owen Telgenhof (2023), Ethan Haskill (2023), Sterling Shepard (2023), and Alex Lencioni (2023) provided a spark off the bench in the 4th quarter, executing the team's game plan in their time together.

"I thought our last group played the West Way in our final few minutes. They moved the ball unselfishly on offense, played with patience and poise, were physical on the offensive and defensive glass, and were able to get lay-ups, free throws, and good looks from deep," Coach Ray said. "Owen Telgenhof in particular played with a fire that we desperately needed."

The Dux will head to Reeths-Puffer tomorrow night to take on the Rockets. Freshmen will tip off at 4:00pm, with JV to follow around 5:30pm, and Varsity around 7:00pm.
