COMSTOCK PARK HIGH SCHOOL: 43
The JV Dux lost a tough one to Comstock Park on Tuesday night by a score of 41-43. The Dux were up by nine heading into the 4th quarter, but could not sustain the lead.
"All credit goes to Comstock Park tonight. They executed down the stretch and hit some big shots," Coach Ray said. "I take the blame for this loss. I did not have my team prepared well enough to finish strong."
The Dux were led by Kylan Arnold ('22) who had 18 points. However, as a team, the Dux turned the ball over 18 times, and gave up 15 offensive rebounds.
"Between the turnovers and offensive boards, Comstock Park was able to manufacture 33 'extra chances' to score the ball," Coach Ray said. "In a two-point game, those extra chances are devastating."
The Dux are back in action on Thursday against rival Zeeland East.
