Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux jumped out to an early lead over Holland Dutch JV and took home a 12-2 victory on Tuesday.  Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux scored on a walk by Logan Wyckoff.

Lucas Smith earned the victory on the mound for Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux. The pitcher went two innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five.  Jakob McLaren and Peyton Koetje entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.  McLaren recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux.

Simon Arendshorst took the loss for Holland Dutch JV. The left-hander allowed eight hits and 12 runs over four innings, striking out six.

Alex Rotman led Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux with two hits in two at-bats.  Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Jace Pyper led the way with four.
