Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-1 loss to Jenison Wildcats JV on Saturday.  Jenison Wildcats JV scored on a double by Pierce Ginzer and a single by Carson McKay in the first inning.

The Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Jenison Wildcats JV, giving up 13 runs.

Jenison Wildcats JV got things moving in the first inning, when Ginzer doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Jenison Wildcats JV scored seven runs in the second inning.  Parker Felgner, Ginzer,  Jack Wiltrakis, Brayden Hilaski, and Brian Malone each drove in runs during the inning.

Hilaski was on the pitcher's mound for Jenison Wildcats JV. The right-hander lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out nine and walking zero.

Peyton Koetje was on the hill for Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux. The pitcher went two innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out two.  Lucas Smith threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Logan Wyckoff and Alex Rotman each collected one hit to lead Zeeland West Junior Varsity Dux.
